Flap Damper
Flap dampers can be applied in various configurations depending on the individual plant requirements. Toggle arm as well as pivot-driven designs are available.

Function:
- Duct isolation for process or maintenance reasons
Application:
- Process industries, FGD, SCR and GT plants
Advantages:
- Very low pressure drop due to the possibility of positioning the blade out of the gas stream when damper is fully open
- Large blades with reduced sealing length and very low leakage
- 100 % gas tight with seal air
- Insulated blade to reduce heat radiation
- Flap can replace two separate (louver) dampers, depending on the duct configuration
